Interview with WGAL

In 2024, Hampden Hunger Heroes formed to work with Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to provide free meals for children at Sporting Hill Fire Station as part of the National Summer Meals Program.  The use of the Sporting Hill Fire Station would not be possible without support from Hampden Township Commissioners.

In 2025, the program expanded by adding a second site at Hope Church, Mechanicsburg.  Opening the second location would not be possible without support of the congregation.
